Photoshop

In Photoshop, we used that picture of a castle we found and made it scarier and more fitting for the video. We Added a solid color over the picture then changed the opacity to make it look darker and spookier.

Adobe Illustrator

In Adobe Illustrator, we made the titles that would be put into the video at different times. We first made a curvy line and the used the write on a path tool. After making the title and finding a font we wanted, we used the warp tool to make it look like the text was dripping. Anything within the green box will be what shows in the video, so we were able to use one file for both titles, with a backup title, and just save two times when the right title is in the box. The files work together and continue to update in all the programs so changes can be made without having to redo everything.

After Effects

In After Effects we started by animating our titles so that they would come in then go out with a spooky effect. We also added a vignette to give the video an opening and closing. We copied the settings for the beginning and pasted them at the end, then switched the keys around so it would close at the end instead of opening. Then we added in some lighting. We used lighting that was already in the program and changed the opacity at certain keys to make it look like a flash. Along with that, we put a solid color over that screen at the time of the lightning and changed its opacity to make it look like the whole scene was lighting up. After this, we were able to add in an animation. We keyed out a color behind the video and used position, rotation, scale, and opacity to make it move across the screen. Then we were ready to move over to Premiere.

Premiere

In premiere, we didn't do that much. We added in sounds after deleting any from other videos and then added fading transitions to the sounds. After that the file was ready to export. I added in music and thunder when the lightning strikes.
