In AutoCAD, we drew the basic outline of the house. We had to use many different layers to designate which layers would be cut and which would be etched, or if they were just construction lines. With the windows, the outside lines were etched and the inside lines were cut. Some things, like the trees or telephone booth, were only cut. The house itself has a hatch pattern on it that will be etched to look like bricks. The roof also has a hatch pattern so it looks like shingles. Each layer is set as a different color so it's easier to tell them apart. After I had the basic shape and windows on, I drew in tabs to the it's easier to put the house together. the house will sit on a platform that everything will then be glued to
