This part of the script made a variable for fire rate to make it so continuous shots can't be fired
the ship was hit by an asteroid causing it to explode and also have sound effects along with it
This part of the script made the asteroids spawn in random places then move towards the ship
This just shows 2 shots being fired and an asteroid exploding
These variables set the boundary for the ship
When making the Space Shooter gamer we used the model spaceship the we made earlier this year. We made different variables to make the ship rotate to the left and right a little and to give it a set arean that it can move in. We created hazards that could make the ship explode or we could shoot to make explode. We set a fire rate so there weren't continuous shots being fired from the ship. We also had text to display the score and a set number of hazards to come in waves. The pictures to the left go into more detail.
