This is the top view of my room design in revit. The arrows pointing in both directions allow you to view the room in sections, almost like it's just cut in half. This was useful when I was placing objects at different heights so that I knew they were where they're supposed to be. The arrows that show where the sections are can have the direction changed, changing the part of the room that you're looking at so that you don't need to add in new sections.
This is the side view of my room in Revit. This picture is sectioned, and just shows half of the room. There are still objects in the room that aren't placed correctly, like the phone dock, that I moved to the right place onto a re-sized table in 3D Studio.
This is another section view of my room. The dresser that the blue arrow is pointing to will have a large tank for my lizard on it. The wasn't a tank already made on Revit City, so instead of not including my bearded dragon, I made one in 3D Studio.

In Revit, we started by taking measurments of our rooms and making a basic layout. Then we added windows, doors and more walls for closets. We then put in flooring and furnature that we could find on Revit City. I couldn't find a large tank for my lizard, so I designed that myself once we brought the room over to 3D Studio.
